2 miscreants set fire to a house in the village of Tarn Taran, caught red-handed : The Tribune India

Tarn Taran, October 15

Panic gripped the village of Jhabal on Friday morning when two armed miscreants fired numerous shots at the house of a village woman.

The victim, identified as Sukhwinder Kaur, in his statement to Jhabal police said three shots went through the main door of the house and many more shots went into the air.

The victim said that after the shooting stopped, she checked the CCTV cameras installed in the house and found that the disbelievers had guns in their hands and were firing indiscriminately to terrorize the residents. Residents going to the gurdwaras took refuge in safer places nearby.

Deputy Inspector Balraj Singh visited the scene and gathered information regarding the incident. The police officer said a case under Sections 336, 427 and 34 of the IPC and Sections 25, 27, 54 and 59 of the Arms Act had been registered. —OC
