“There will be research modules that will allow more researchers to do more research in space,” said Jessica Rousset, deputy director of the Interplanetary Initiative at ASU. “It will be zoned like commercial real estate infrastructure. She said the space station will be operational within the next ten years. She said it will be made up of modules that are like parts that can be added to the space station to expand it as more investors buy a seat on it.

ASU has been chosen to lead the Space Station Academic Advisory Board.

The team will play an important role in deciding who will board the space station and what type of research will be carried out on it.
