Donate life-saving blood and shop for your Valentine’s Day. Save a life and show your love!

The Carlsbad Village Association is sponsoring its fifth annual blood drive in the heart of the village on Saturday, February 12 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This year’s blood drive will be hosted by Barrio Glassworks located at 3060 Roosevelt St, Carlsbad, CA 92008 in the heart of Carlsbad Village, Carlsbad, CA.

People with cancer or severe anemia sometimes caused by thalassemia or sickle cell disease

Advanced appointments are required and can be made by visiting:

New for 2022! During the blood drive, the CVA, in partnership with Barrio Glassworks, will host a pop-up Valentine’s Day shopping experience. Handmade greeting cards by local artist Monica Martin

Homemade Chocolate Gift Boxes by Susie’s Sweet Fudge

Spa gift sets and blown glass vases by Barrio Glassworks

Compose your flower arrangements

The need to donate blood is constant and this year the supply to our national blood banks is dangerously low. Donating blood is safe and easy. By participating in the village blood drive, you will save lives and help the local community.
