Cobb’s Safety Village Adds GLOCK Sponsored Gun Safety House

Cobb County has announced the addition of the GLOCK Interactive Residential Home to demonstrate gun safety at Cobb County Safety Village.

The house, sponsored by the Smyrna-based gun maker, “will provide second-graders with hands-on experience on what to do if they stumble upon a gun.”

“Fourth-graders will examine neighbor contact safety and gun safety,” according to the press release on the county’s Facebook page.

The press release states:

The Safety Village educates students throughout the school year and summers. All second and fourth grade students in Cobb County and Marietta participate in the programs.
