Dubai Global Village announces opening date for new season – News


Season 26 of the destination will last 167 days.

Dubai’s Global Village has announced the opening dates for its 2021-22 season.

The destination will open its doors to the world on Tuesday, October 26, 2021. Season 26 of the destination will last 167 days, before ending on April 10, 2022.

He also invited budding entrepreneurs to show their interest in bringing their new kiosks or street food carts to life at the next edition. Potential partners can submit their concepts and offers before August 1.

Millions of UAE residents and tourists visit this multicultural family entertainment destination every year. Global Village’s Silver Jubilee Edition had 4.5 million visitors and also saw Global Village break 25 Guinness World Records. For its 25th season, the park represented 78 crops in 26 pavilions over 190 days, while more than 300 food outlets and 3,500 outlets were set up last year.

The latest edition was held under strict Covid-19 security guidelines with best practices in place to maintain the health and safety of visitors from the pandemic. Global Village has regularly disinfected public areas to ensure the site remains hygienic and has also made sure that visitors wear masks when visiting.

“This season, we have planned major upgrades to the street that connects the main stage and the carnival with a new fountain, seating area and photo opportunity for great family memories,” Anwahi added.
