Independence Village of Pella Hosts Open House | Local News

Brighton, Michigan – Independence Village of Pella held a community open house from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, September 8.

Guests at the event enjoyed delicious chef-prepared appetizers and a Pella-themed signature drink, the Independence Village Dutch Letter. In addition to tasty food, there were live performances, and those who had yet to see the community for themselves had the opportunity to take a tour and learn more about what makes life there so special.

“Days like this remind me that I have the best job in the world,” CEO Lindsay Paxton said of the event. “It’s an honor to serve seniors and their families, and every opportunity we have to celebrate them — and invite the whole community to share in the joy as well — is truly special.” »

Residents were also eager to show off their community to the greater Pella area. Dressed in their finery, residents, friends, families and community leaders enjoyed an evening spent together.
