“Locked up in my house today for trying to visit the village of Tral which was allegedly ransacked by the army. This is the true image of Kashmir that visiting dignitaries should be shown instead of the sanitized and guided GOI picnic tours, ”Mufti tweeted.

The PDP chief also released a photo of a security force vehicle allegedly blocking the main gate of his residence on the road to Gupkar.

On Tuesday, Mufti alleged that army personnel beat a family in the town of Tral in Pulwama and injured a woman, adding that she would meet the family on Wednesday.

On Tuesday Mufti tweeted: “The army at Yagwani camp in Tral ransacked houses and brutalized a family last night. The girl, due to her serious injuries, was hospitalized. This is not the first time that civilians from this village have been beaten up by the army in this area.

The last time Mufti claimed she was under house arrest was on September 7. I was placed under house arrest today because, according to the administrator, the situation is far from normal in Kashmir. This exposes their false claims of normality, ”she tweeted.
