Volunteers needed at KATB headquarters to help stock the mobile pantry

KATB needs volunteers to help stock its mobile pantry with food ahead of its Saturday distribution events. Pantry storage will take place inside KATB’s corporate headquarters, which is located at 801 Platte Ave. in Fort Morgan, so there’s no need to worry about today’s weather or potential freezing temperatures. Volunteers must be able to safely lift and move 20-45 pounds and closed shoes are recommended.

Volunteer dates include the following Fridays from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.: April 1, 8, 15, 22.

April 22 is also yoga night. Once the pantry is stocked on the 22nd, a local yoga teacher will guide volunteers through relaxing stretches and a brief meditation. The yoga part must end at 7:15 p.m.

Volunteers wishing to help on any of the April dates listed above can sign up at this link: www.givepulse.com/group/events/519028. If you are having trouble registering using the Give Pulse platform, please contact Bella Heepke-Laws at United Way of Morgan County ([email protected]) to be added manually.
